หากพูดถึงสถานที่เที่ยวที่มีความหลากหลายของเชื้อชาติและศาสนาก็คงจะนึกถึงได้มากมายหลายแห่ง แต่ถ้าพูดถึงความหลากหลายของเชื้อชาติศาสนาที่หาสัมผัสได้ในเมืองกรุงฯ อาจทำให้นึกถึงชุมชนกุฎีจีนเป็นอันแรก ๆ และแน่นอนว่าหากได้มีโอกาสมาสัมผัสชุมชนแห่งนี้ต้องหลงใหลในมนต์เสน่ห์อันลงตัวของทั้ง 3 ศาสนาแต่ 4 ความเชื่อที่สามารถอยู่ร่วมกันได้โดยสันติสุข

ดิฉันได้มีโอกาสไปสัมผัสกับสถานที่แห่งนี้ด้วยตนเอง จึงอยากเล่าถึงความประทับใจที่ได้กลับมา ซึ่งแต่เดิมที ต้องขออกตัวก่อนเลยว่าดิฉันไม่ได้ชื่นชอบการท่องเที่ยวชุมชนหรือการไปสัมผัสวิถีชีวิตผู้คนในชุมชนสักเท่าใด แต่ด้วยคณะที่เรียนในมหาวิทยาลัย ทำให้ดิฉันได้รับมอบหมายให้ลงพื้นที่ชุมชนเพื่อศึกษาวิถีชีวิตและความเป็นมาในชุมชน ก่อนที่จะเข้าไปในชุมชนก็ได้ทำการหาข้อมูลวางแผนการเดินทาง ซึ่งต้องมีการนั่งเรือข้ามฟากแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาไปยังชุมชนซึ่งตั้งอยู่ฝั่งธน ในตอนนั้นรู้สึกเริ่มตื่นเต้นเป็นอย่างมาก เพราะการนั่งเรือในแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยาเป็นกิจกรรมที่ยังใหม่สำหรับตัวดิฉันและที่สำคัญคือการได้เดินทางไปกับเพื่อน ๆ อีกด้วย ในวันเดินทางเราเตรียมตัวกันไปอย่างดี การนั่งเรือข้ามฟากที่แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยานั้น ก็เป็นไปอย่างที่คิดไว้ บรรยากาศดี ลมเย็น ถึงแม้ตอนกลางวันจะค่อนข้างร้อนนิดหน่อย พอถึงตัวชุมชนที่แรกที่เราแวะคือ โบสถ์ซางตาครู้ส หรือวัดซางตาครู้ส ดิฉันได้เข้าไปชมความสวยงามภายในโบสถ์ซางตาครู้ส ตื่นตาตื่นใจกับสถาปัตยกรรมและโดมของโบสถ์ที่เหมือนกับ “มหาวิหารฟลอเร้นซ์” เพดานโค้งประดับด้วยกระจกสีสวยงามอย่างมาก ถัดมาดิฉันก็ได้เข้าไปเยี่ยมชมพิพิธภัณฑ์กุฎีจีน ซึ่งได้รวบรวมเรื่องราวในสมัยก่อนที่จะมาเป็นชุมชนนี้ อีกทั้งยังมีเครื่องนอน อารหารการกิน บทเพลงของกุฎีจีน และอีกมากมายให้นักท่องเที่ยวที่แวะเวียนมาได้ชมกัน ด้านล่างของพิพิธภัณฑ์ก็เปิดเป็นคาเฟ่ให้ได้นั่งชิวกันอีกด้วย ที่ต่อไปที่ห้ามพลาดคือร้านขนมฝรั่งกุฏีจีน ต้องขอบอกเลยว่ามีแค่ที่นี่ที่ยังทำขนมฝรั่งนี้อยู่ ซึ่งหาทานยากแล้วแถมยังอร่อยอีกด้วย อีกสามสถานที่ที่ดิฉันได้มีโอกาสแวะเวียนไป คือ ศาลเจ้าเกียนอันเกง วัดกัลยาณมิตรวรมหาวิหาร และมัสยิดบางหลวง(กุฏีขาว) สามารถเดินทางได้ด้วยการเดิน เพราะอยู่ในระแวกเดียวกันทั้งหมด หากไม่รู้ทางก็สามารถถามชาวบ้านที่นั่นได้ทุกคน โดยคุณลุงกรรมารชุมชนที่ยินดีเล่าประวัติความเป็นมาของชุมชนกุฎีจีน แถมยังเล่าได้เพลินมาก ๆ รู้จักทุกซอกทุกมุมของชุมชนเลย
