Museum Wat Chang Klang is a museum room located in Wat Chang Klang. It was established to collect antiquities gathered from Myanmar. Inside the museum room exhibit wooden dolls carved in a human shape and animal shape from the Vessantara Jataka, made by a Myanmese carver. The dolls were imported from a temple in Myanmar in 1857. They were beautifully carved. There are also small marble statues, ancient scriptures, wares and ancient utensils. Each of the exhibits contains nameplate to describe each object, both in Thai and English.

Getting There
With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 1. Pass Kamphaeng Phet (Tak). Then turn left to Mae Sot District, drive along Highway number 12. Then turn right at Mae Sot city center, take Highway number 105. Go straight to Mae Hong Son, pass Phra That Chom Thong. Then cross Mae Sariang River, turn left to Highway number 108. Go straight for 162 km. Then turn right and turn left to the entrance behide Sahapanich Company Limited. Go straight for 650 m. Wat Chong Klang is on the right. The destination is inside.
By bus: Take a bus at the Northern Bus Terminal (Mo Chit 2, Kamphaeng Phet 2 Road) to Mae Hong Son.
By plane: Take a Bangkok to Mae Hong Son flight of Nok Air and SGA Airline.
