Information
Koh Chang Yutthanawi Memorial commemorates Prince Chumporn and the naval battle between Siamese Navy and the French fleet over Siamese eastern territories during Indochina War. Despite the wreck of several warships and the casualties of Siam, the French navy retreated. The action of bravery was praised internationally even by the French maritime force. Outside of the memorial is a garden overlooking the beautiful sea dotted with islands.
