Ancient cities or ancient Siam is a way of learning history that encourages Thai people to understand their localization. With initiative will and aim of Mr.Lek Viriyaphan to inherit and cultivate Thai tradition and culture by scholars’ heart and soul, which are the foundation of Siamese civilization,.

By collecting of Thai cultural and art works, the Ancient City emphasizes on the distinguished and unique pieces of art from different periods, ranging from pre-historic era, Dvaravati, Srivichai, Lopburi, Lanna, Lan Chang, Sukhothai, U-tong, Ayuthaya, Thonburi and Rattanakosin i.e. Nakhon Srithammarat relics, Wat Yau Suwannaram sermon hall, Petchaburi, Thawarawadi Buddha image, Khun phan pavilion, Vihara Phra Sri Sanpet Chapel, Phra That Phanom relics, Royal Vihara Wat Maha That Sukhothai Chapel.

Getting There

by Personal car : take the BKK Express Way and the exit at Samrong-Samut Prakan Exit. to Samut Prakan three-Intersection. Turn left along the old Sukhumvit Road (towards Bangpoo) until you get to km. 33. The Ancient City is on the left.
by Bus : Take air-conditioned bus No. 511 (Sai Tai Mai - Paknam) to the end of the line. Then, take the mini-bus No. 36., which passes the entrance to the Ancient City.
Ancient City has serviced a shuttle bus to and fro from BTS station Bearing – Ancient City 3 round per day Free of charge. The shuttle bus pick-up at Centerpoint Entertainment Parking lot. From BTS Bearing station, take exit 1 and walk along Sukhumvit 105 Road (Soi Lazan) approximate 100 meters , the parking lot is on the right side.
