The Tapae Inn Museum is a 40-year-old wooden building that used to be a 'Thai Charoen' hotel. Later, the building was renovated to be cement building and changing in the ceiling . Later name changed to "Thapae Inn". In addition to be a mini hotel for tourists, it is also a rare relic of a small museum. This mini hotel also opens for public for studying and visiting .  A starting point from taking care of family  hotel business , Mr. Mongkol Ratanacharaphon having the idea of ​​bringing antiques to decorate the hotel . It makes hotel to be excited and interesting.  He gathers many antiques from love and his hobby.  By focusing on items that can be easily found and low cost from Chiang Mai city to the other area. Many pieces are like textbooks for people to study such as pottery, antiques, old books, lacquerware, ornaments, currency (banknotes / coins), photos including movies, advertisements, posters , important news from newspapers.
