Thep Kasatri and Si Sunthon Heroines Monument was built to commemorate Thao Thep Kasattri and Thao Sri Sunthorn who led the people of Phuket to drive out the Burmese soldiers in the Nine Armies War in early Rattanakosin period. Because of their bravery and strong hearts, on March 16, 2015, the municipality of Thep Kasattri restored this place as a historical monument by building a model of Thao Thep Kasattri and Thao Srisunthorn’s house. The house is a single-storey traditional Thai house. There is a space under the house. The house is no more than 9 meters wide and no less than 14 meters long. The surrounding area is 126 square meters. It is to be a place for learning about history. There are statues of Thao Thep Kasattri and Thao Sri Sunthorn, a model of the bedroom, the kitchen, and their study.

Getting There

With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 35 and Highway number 4. Pass Phetchaburi, Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chumphon, Takua Pa District, Surat Thani, Ban Khok Koy, Thai Mueang District to Phang Nga. Then cross Sarasin Bridge to Phuket. Take Highway number 402, go straight for 25.7 km. Then turn right to Highway number 4030. Turn right to Ban Kay Road and drive for 0.19 km. Then turn left to first Soi and drive for 0.29 km. Turn right at the intersection, then drive for 0.07 km. Then turn left and drive for 0.19 km. The destination at the front.

By bus: Take normal or air-conditioned bus of the Transport Company or other private companies from Bangkok - Phuket.

By plane: Take domestic flight from Bangkok - Phuket.
