TK Park Pattani is regarded as a ‘living library’ with a purpose to promote reading habits of the locals. This learning park is a collaboration between the Southern Border Provinces Administrative Center (SBPAC), Office of Knowledge Management and Development (Public Organization) and Pattani Municipality. The library, with its objective to improve the quality of life of children and teenagers in the southern border provinces, consists of a multimedia zone equipped with computer devices and advanced library automation system, a reader's zone and a space simulation zone that attracts children who is interested in astronomy.

Admission fee

Admission fee/annual membership subscription as following:

Young people under 25 years old and elder people morethan 60 years old 100 Baht per 1 year.
Adult between 25 - 59 years old 200 Baht per 1 year.
Foreigner 400 Baht per 1 year.
Exclude membership fees for monks, the disabled and the underprivileged.
Paid 20 Baht for temporary pass + 50 Baht for deposit.

Getting There

With private car: From Bangkok, take Highway number 35 (Thonburi - Pak Tho). Go straight for 90 km. Then drive to Highway number 4 until reaching Chumphon. Then take Highway number 41 or 42. Pass Surat Thani - Nakhon Si Thammarat - Songkhla - Pak Nam Thea to Pattani until reaching Don Rak Intersection. Then turn left to Nong Chik Road. Go straight for 12 km to Pattani city center until reaching Pattani Politics Intersection. Then turn right to Phi Phit Road and cross Decha Nuchit Bridge. The destination is on the left.

By bus: From Bangkok, there are regular buses and air-conditioned buses depart from the Southern Bus Terminal. Every day from 06.00 pm, it takes about 15 hours.

By train: From Bangkok Station (Hua Lamphong), there are express train and express bus to Khok Pho Station every day. Inquiry details from travel agencies in Bangkok station.
