Situated on the bank of Chao Phraya River in Bang Sai District, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya, the Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Centre has around 1,000 rais of spaces. The Centre is operated by The Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Technique of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit of Thailand (The SUPPORT Foundation) under the royal thought to establish the source of learning in the field of traditional Thai wisdom, specifically Thai arts and crafts. Key operation is based on training and promoting supplementary occupations for local people during their pause from agricultural routines. Her Majesty Queen Sirikit had presided over to officially inaugurate the Centre on 7 December 1984.   


Bang Sai Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Centre comprises several buildings, which are 32 craftsman workshops, such as Yan Lipao weaver, silk weaver, ceramic maker, carver, glassblower, Teen Chok silk weaver, Khon mask maker, etc. Additionally, there are other interesting facilities, including the 4-region Thai village, Chaiyuth Pier and Sala Phra Ming Khwan Pavilion that features souvenir and craftwork shops. There are also bird park and fish aquarium for visitors to enjoy.

Monday-Friday 8.30 am - 5.00 pm, Saturday-Sunday and Public Holidays 8.30 am - 6.00 pm

Thai Adult 50 baht, Children 20 baht/ Foreigner Adult 100 baht, Children 50 baht

Getting There

Visitors can catch a boat that travels along Chao Phraya River to the Center’s pier. Private car should use Nonthaburi-Pathum Thani route (Highway 306), passing Rangsit Junction and turn right to Bang Sai District.
