Bangkok Sculpture Center cordially invite you to visit Sermkhun Kunawong Museum House Exhibition.This exhibition narrates the story of Sermkhun Kunawong Museum House, which has been built up by Sermkhun with his passion in Arts. In this museum house are collected several kinds of art work in order to manifest the development of Thai art from the old days to today. There are more than 300 pieces of antiquities, works with Western art influences showing the gradual growth of artistic techniques in our country, contemporary works and attractively interesting furniture. There are more than 300 artworks. The owner aims to exhibit both his own works and collections so that the lively museum has been built in order to tell the descendants about their ancestor’s esthetic wisdom.
This exhibition displays the artworks which are related to the Museum House including paintings and sculptures such as Argument by Sompot Upa-in, the social-serviced kind of works by Paisarn Tirapongwisanuporn, Sculpture with mixed media technique from his latest exhibition by Kritsada Phakawatsuntorn and the old maps published in the reign of King Rama V and also the three exquisite fans by Hatai Bunnak, a group of pottery teapots and teacup and Chinese paintbrush artwork.
