16 March, 2023: The National Discovery Museum Institute, in collaboration with the Phuket City Municipality, Museum Phuket and Peranakannitat Museum, has organized Peranakan Phuket – Penang Sharing seminar with the aims of exchanging knowledge with Penang-based cultural networks and learning centers, and fostering collaborations on the integration of Peranakan-culture knowledge among experts in both cities.  Leading panelists at the seminar are Ms. Sukumal Phadungsilp, Deputy Director of the National Discovery Museum Institute or Museum Siam, and Mr. Saroj Angkanapilas, the Mayor of the Phuket City.  The participants attended to sharing their viewpoints and knowledge at the Meeting Room of Assoc. Prof. Manat Chaisawat, 1st floor, Building 3, Faculty of International Studies, Prince of Songkhla University’s Phuket Campus.
